Tributyrin

• Tributyrin is a triglyceride of the short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) called butyrate(sometimes called butyric acid or butanoic acid), commonly found in butter and other foods and also produced in the intestine during the digestion of fiber and certain carbohydrates.
